Laugh Your Way

Mark Gungor’s Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage seminar is a captivating event and
video series that is inspiring renewed hope for matrimony everywhere it is experienced.
Andrews Media was proud to participate in the production of the seminar’s Spanish
language version, filmed live in September 2007.

To handle the task, a convoy of production equipment, personnel and mobile units was
assembled in D/FW to travel to the shooting location, a Hispanic community church in
Killeen, Texas. Once on site, crews transformed the small church’s main sanctuary into a
full studio, erecting an intricate backdrop, temporary rigging for up and downstage
lighting, a concert-quality sound system, and flat-panel displays and confidence monitors.

Capturing the action was our 35’ television production mobile. The self-contained unit
provided ample work-space for the producers, director, tape and
sound operators and video engineers. Four SDI cameras were fed into the truck, including two studio
configurations, one hand-held floor cam and a large jib cam at the back of the house.

Of course, the show was a great success. The two-day program was cleanly recorded for
additional editing and distribution, and the location set-up allowed for a series of musical
performances that fired up the audience before each taping and left a lasting impression on the congregants.
